2011年夏、TVアニメ『神様のメモ帳』OP主題歌「カワルミライ」でメジャーデビューを果たした“ChouCho”
『氷菓』、『ガールズ＆パンツァー』、『Fate/kaleid liner プリズマ☆イリヤ』など、話題のアニメ主題歌を次々に担当。
国内や海外のイベントなどにも多数出演してグローバルに活躍。

2018年2月に4th ALBUM『color of time』をリリース。
13曲中5曲を自身で作詞作曲し、クリエイティブな能力でも支持を集める。

2020年10月にリリースされたTVアニメ『魔女の旅々』ED主題歌「灰色のサーガ」は本人作詞作曲となり、民族音楽を取り入れた今までと全く違った新たな一面を披露。

現在ではアーティストヘの楽曲提供も行い活動の幅を広げている。
ジャンルを問わないナチュラルで艶のある歌声が高く評価され、海外のアニメイベントへの出演や、
楽曲のハイレゾ配信等、今後も幅広い音楽シーンで活躍が期待されている。

ChouCho made her major debut in the summer of 2011 with “Kawaru Mirai,” the opening theme song for the TV anime Kamisama no Memochou.
She has since performed songs one after another, such as the theme songs to popular anime, including Hyoka, Girls und Panzer, and Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illiya.

She is active globally, performing at events both within Japan and overseas.

In February 2018, she released her 4th album, color of time. Having written the lyrics and music for five of the thirteen songs, she also gained attention for her creative abilities.

She composed and wrote the lyrics of “Haiiro no Saga,” released in October 2020 as the ending theme to the TV anime Wandering Witch.

She incorporated folk elements into her music, showing a completely new side of herself.

She is currently expanding her activities, including writing songs for artists. With her highly acclaimed natural and lustrous voice that transcends genres,
she is expected to continue being active in many areas of the music scene, such as performing at anime events around the world and streaming “high-resolution” songs.
