The Danish trio was formed in 2008 by brothers Andreas and Simon Westmark along with Søren Nørgaard. Upon releasing a 7" single (Death Rattle/Ghost of Scandinavia 2011), “EP” in 2012 and contributing to the first edition of The Reverb Conspiracy's compilation, Get Your Gun has been spending the majority of 2013 writing, recording and finishing the debut album, which has been recorded in Aarhus Lydstudie. The first single entitled “Black Book” will be available in the beginning of 2014. With 7 new tracks on the coming record, Get Your Gun is expanding their universe with both some of the heaviest and most unobtrusive songs they have ever written. The 7 songs on the record are different reactions to a condition and a time where individuality is the goal but the price is loneliness. It is the sound of an individual balancing on a knife's edge between resignation and strength of will. Get Your Gun is playing Roskilde Festival and SPOT Festival among others in 2014. They have been touring in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Estonia and Russia and played festivals such as Tallinn Music Week, BlueSPOT Festival, Rencontres Trans Musicales and Reeperbahn Festival.
