The Trousers is a new project put together by Ross Davison and Fiddler Karson McKeown. We both worked at the Ottawa Folklore Centre and frequently took breaks to play tunes (or “chunes”) together. Our current sound includes Uilleann Pipes, Whistles, Fiddle, Guitar, and Bodhran. Our Repertoire includes Irish, Scottish, and Cape Breton music as well as a few surprises. The Trousers are a traditional music duo that consist of Ross Davison (uilleann pipes and whistles) and Karson McKeown (fiddle, guitar, and bodhran).
