but he has also experimented fusion of different genres.
He has published several CDs with different ensembles (Paolo Fresu Quartet, Paolo Fresu Quintet, Duo with Omar Sosa, Duo with Uri Caine, etc.) and in collaboration with various artists.
He is very active touring worldwide, and organizes the Berchidda Jazz Festival in his native town in North Sardinia since 1988.
