Since their inception in 2011, Connecticut indie rock powerhouse Bonsai Trees has been making their mark on the alternative music world. They have amassed over 1.7 million Spotify streams with their addictive brand of raw emotional songwriting and energetic rock hooks. Bonsai Trees is led by vocalist James MacPherson with a rotating live band (and usually featuring long time drummer Nick Sokol 2011-2020).

Often categorized as indie-rock with distinct traces of emo influence, Bonsai Trees has been traveling the United States in support of their most recent independent LP Learn To Grow (released May 3rd, 2019), their third full length album. An energetic and melodic 10-track collection, Learn To Grow is filled to the brim with memorable hooks and turbulent emotion.
