Über Tyto Alba
Tyto Alba
Four friends making music together. Tyto Alba is fronted by singer/songwriter Melanie Steinway, a tattooist and illustrator by day. Her folk background melds with indie, shoegaze and post-punk influences of her three bandmates for a distinctly lush and dreamy sound. Tyto Alba has self-released two EPs and a handful of singles. Tyto Alba's latest single, Somnambulist, premiered on Ultra5280 3/7/18: http://www.ultra5280.com/music/2018/3/7/tyto-alba-is-slowly-carving-its-niche-as-one-of-the-best-bands-in-denver
