"The Disfunction" hail from the laidback little surf town of Rincon, Puerto Rico, where the only word they could think of to properly describe their synergy, is "dysfunction".

Childhood friends came together, never knowing what greatness would lie ahead for them. Each playing different instruments, then decided to form a band simply for the passion & pleasure of playing music

After months of song writing & practicing, they played a couple of shows to a amazing reaction from the crowd!

Since the summer 2008, they have played non-stop throughout Puerto Rico, distinguishing themselves as one of the most prominent indie Rock bands from Puerto Rico.

Working diligently on composing different types of songs, they have played all over the island & recently achieved their dream of playing at the infamous "Whiskey a Go Go” in Hollywood California in Spring 2010.

Since re-locating in June of 2011 to Brooklyn, N.Y. they played a series of shows in New Jersey, Long Island and New York, playing in really known venues all over the city like, Arlene's Grocery, Legion Bar, Trash Bar, The Bitter End, Cameo Art Gallery, Pianos, Public Assembly, Trainors, Bahia Club, Bowery Electric among others.

The Disfunction currently are recording their upcoming EP in Brooklyn, NY and Yauco, P.R. and are currently touring Puerto Rico to promote their upcoming album, 1,2,3.. Testing.
