Sydney/Gadigal-based Darling Street have been working hard on the scene for several years, releasing music that meditates on the past and present versions of themselves, and looks to the future with a sense of reckless optimism. Inspired by the heroes of rock and pop of the 60’s and 70’s, the group have roots in drunken cover gigs in the iconic pubs of Sydney’s nightlife hotspots. Over time, the group crafted their own tracks and progressively developed an extensive discography of songs they believed would get the crowd going. Paired with a live performance that evokes memories of the 80’s Australian pub rock scene, the band are rapidly coming into themselves as a collective.

The group, frontman Seamus, drummer Sophie, guitarist and singer Paddy, bassist Emma, and guitarist Oliver, have created a diverse debut album featuring high-energy rock tracks and intense ballads that they are amped to release in December.
