Über SO SORRY
SO SORRY
SO SORRY was founded in 2023 (Berlin) and has been performing in its current line-up
since April 2024: Zuza Jasinska (vocals), Käthe Johanning (keys), Shanice Ruby Bennett
(bass) and Lenny Rehm (drums). Their music moves at the intersection of contemporary
jazz, alternative pop and R&B, delivering intricate melodies and tightly woven
arrangements with emotional vulnerability and an ethos of shared empowerment.
The band has already made a strong impression on the German music scene: they
received the 2024 Musicboard Berlin scholarship, won the Sparda Jazz Award 2025 and
the renowned Junger Münchener Jazzpreis 2025. Their debut EP “WE ARE SO SORRY”
was released in January 2026.
With consummate musicianship and heartfelt songwriting at its core, SO SORRY is not an
apology but a statement of reclaiming space and embracing boldness.
