Max Berend

Max Berend creates his own sound that feels like home and sounds like freedom. His music drifts between folk, pop, chanson and a touch of jazz – flowing between genres just as his lyrics flow between places, people, languages and stories. His songs find the beauty in the everyday things, turning the mind’s eye into a cinema screen.

Live, he creates space for lightness, marvel and belonging. His live shows thrive on the interplay with his band – Bettina Hummler on piano, Alan Tucci on bass, Andri Weber on drums and Micha Surber on sound and light – and the audience. Those who come often leave with a smile – and a melody to carry through life with a sense of belonging.

Hope to meet you somewhere soon 🧡
