Rubí

Born in 2000, Rubí is a singer-songwriter from San Juan, Puerto Rico. All her life she has been surrounded by art. She learned to write poetry at six years old; participated in short films; studied music; and has experimented on stage since she was thirteen. In 2021, the year she debuted as a singer, Rubí released several singles, collaborated with artists of her generation, did many shows and was played on the radio in Puerto Rico for months. With this increasing pace, her career seemed in motion. It was at the end of 2022 when the artist made a decision that would change the game: lock herself away for a year and create music non-stop to find her sound. On 2024 she released the single “Deseo Salvaje”, reaching over 20,000 streams organically and gaining the attention of the industry. With her original concept of music merged with poetry, Rubí is demonstrating to be one of Puerto Rico’s most promising artists of this generation.
