Walter the Producer

Walter The Producer is a multi-hyphenate talent crafting a
distinct sonic lane where funk, alternative R&B, and Western
rock collide. Originally hailing from Boston’s South Shore
and now based in Los Angeles, Walter pairs soulful vocal
delivery with a production style inspired by the likes of Tame
Impala and Daft Punk.

After breaking through in 2023 with the viral success of
"Velma" and "Since September" from his No Substance
Mixtape, Walter has maintained a relentless creative pace.
His 2024 LP, PLEASE HELP ME I’M SCARED, earned high-
profile acclaim from Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, while 2025’s
Modern Rock EP further cemented his status as a rising
indie-pop heavyweight.

Equal parts 70s nostalgia, early-2000s energy, and modern
indie rock, his music translates into an electrifying live
experience—one he has brought to iconic stages like
Lollapalooza, The Troubadour, and direct support slots for
Ruel and Tommy Newport.
