Nightbird (Anna-Stina Jungerstam), a Vaasa-born singer-songwriter and guitarist located in Helsinki. Her songs are equally rooted in Finnish melancholy and the great American folk treasures. Nightbird sings the soundtrack to sleepless nights, blending velvet midnight jazz songs and moon-gazing slide guitars to the echo of the delta pioneers.
Since the release of her critically acclaimed albums "Nightbird" (2015) and Travelin' Baby (2020), she has toured extensively in Europe, while also making a few appearances in Finnish TV-shows, such as Efter Nio and Strömsö.
A new album called “Out of These Days” will be released in the spring of 2024.
