Ashbury Wrath is a progressive thrash groove metal band from Sacramento. The sound is inspired by bands like Mastodon, Gojira, and Tool, and has been described as brutal yet uplifting, faintly familiar, and existential. The band was founded in 2022 by bassist Mike Mendenhall and guitarist Ryan Williams with the dream to create and share heavy music that means different things to different people in cerebral ways. Drummer Danny Greco and vocalist Vlad Volovikov joined the band the following year. Ashbury Wrath spent the second half of 2023 writing & recording their debut EP "Anemoia" which will be released March 30th.
