Sotah

Rising from the ashes of the darkest period of his life, vocalist/guitarist Casey Daron formed the scorching (and dapper-dressed) ska-punk outfit Sotah as a form of healing and self-expression in the summer of 2021. Joined by his brother Killian Daron on bass and longtime friend and drummer Johnny Deschamps, Sotah furiously began writing songs and playing select shows in some of New England’s most esteemed venues.

Dubbing their sound as “Sad Ska for Sad Sacks”, Sotah has opened up for such acts as Sponge, Hans Gruber and the Die Hards, and countless other regional bands from New England.

Sotah’s first release was a stripped-back, acoustic cover of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' “They Will Need Music”, which was immediately shared on the band’s social media accounts. The Bosstones even went on to call it “a very lovable cover” and “New Hampshire for damn sure!” Sotah’s second release was the passionate and energetic single “Dying Breath”, lamenting the confusion and hopelessness one feels after sudden tragedy.
