Jörg Danielsen – Electric Blues from the Heart of Europe

Based in Austria, guitarist and singer Jörg Danielsen is deeply rooted in the sound of 20th-century electric blues. With raw energy, heartfelt playing, and a clear nod to the greats of the genre, he brings authentic blues to today’s stages – always with a personal touch.

Together with his band, the Vienna Blues Association, Jörg has been touring extensively for several years. Their dynamic live shows feature a vibrant mix of original songs and carefully chosen classics from his musical heroes. Holding down the groove are Martin Melzer (bass) and Christoph Karas (drums) – a rhythm section as solid as it is soulful.

In 2023, Jörg had the honor of representing Austria at the European Blues Challenge, showcasing his passion and craft on an international stage and leaving a strong impression among Europe’s blues elite.

Jörg's musical journey has taken him far beyond Austria: from South America (Argentina) to clubs and festivals across Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Slovakia, and Italy.

When he's not performing with the Vienna Blues Association, you can find him on stage as a solo act or collaborating in various other blues and roots projects.
