We are IRIEspect, a 6piece reggae/dub/jam/Latin outfit from LI NY, delivering a very infectious & energetic live show that showcases a versatile, dynamic, innovative & genre-bending sound, fusing elements of roots/rock/reggae, while incorporating live dub, Latin, dancehall & more.
The band has built a devoted following across the Tristate, Northeast & wider East Coast markets and have performed more than 200 shows in the past few years. Recent highlight shows include w/ Steel Pulse at Brooklyn Bowl NY (sold out) and w/ the Original Wailers at Paramount Theater NY. Other major reggae artists they've shared the stage with include Inner Circle, Barrington Levy, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Collie Buddz, Pepper, Badfish, Fortunate Youth, Sister Nancy, Artikal Sound System, Mike Love, Jesse Royal, Bumpin Uglies, Kash'd Out & many others.
Their 2024 debut full length LP on Dubshot Records introduced the standout single “Strong Island” and marked a significant new chapter for the band. IRIEspect continued to build momentum in 2025 with singles like “Want Me Too” & “Nuh Leave Mi Alone”. Late '25 the band released their long awaited “Lost In Time EP" on 12/12/25 w/ Dubshot Records, and a follow up Dub rendition to the album, "Lost In Dub EP" on 4/24/26, further establishing IRIEspect as one of the most exciting emerging voices in modern reggae fusion.
