I saw Matt for the 4th time on opening night in Evanston and he was absolutely fantastic! Engaging, funny, and just, absolutely amazing to listen to such talent. Mr. Nathanson never disappoints! Lisa Loeb, you are incredible!

Matt is one of my favorite performers to see live. He’s a fantastic combo of comedian and musician! If you ever have the chance to go to a pre-show hang with him, I highly recommend it!! So much fun!!

Not only is his music great, but Matt is just a wonderful entertainer. It’s a concert-comedy show, and the way he interacts with the audience is priceless. I’d go back to see him over and over!!

This was a seated show, but there wasn't a bad seat in the house! First time at the veggie fire be and i Felt like it was a very intimate concert and the performers we're so engaging and hilarious and great stories were shared. You could stand and dance when inspired to and grab a drink without lines, but $10+ per drink, which was expensive from my experiences. I really liked the venue though and would highly recommend! (Especially if they offer more seated shows in the near future!) Thanks for a great night out!

Absolutely LOVED the venue! We cannot wait to attend another show there. And this was by far the most entertaining and best Matt Nathanson show I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to several. I always love Matt Nathanson but this was fantastic and the preshow hang was amazing as well!!

Terrific show! Loved the quaint venue. Nathanson has a fantastic sense of humor. His quick stage wit makes one wonder if he could just as easily do stand-up comedy as he could be a singer-songwriter. However, here’s to hoping he stays in the latter profession. It’s powerful and moving to see an artist emotionally invested in their songs - and he truly is. If you haven’t seen him, you’re doing life wrong. Fix that. Now.

Poor Matt was getting over a cold and flu, but still gave 200% at this show. Part comedian, part musician, and always a fantastic entertainer. Have seen him before, and he never disappoints. Really liked this venue too. Intimate gathering place, and wound up right in front of the stage with an amazing view. Great show

This was the most amazing concert...Matt Nathanson is such an incredibly kind human who is super funny and talented, he moves you with his voice and makes you laugh with his wit and back stories...This is one of the best concerts ever

I have seen Matt many times, and enjoyed every single show, but this one was my favourite . I loved the combination of a set list combined with the wheel. Matt’s banter is just as entertaining as his music. Loved the small intimate venue.

The wheel of nathanson, we got to hear the hits, the new songs off of singa his sad songs. The classic matty time banter. Ive been a fan for the last 17yrs, and matts shows and himself never ever fail me...he his one very talented human. Besides his hugs are the best... Giants i think was the hit of the night! We need to unite and be human anad embrace humanity..this is our anthem

Great concert by Matt Nathanson at the Birchmere tonight. Very intimate with only 500 people. Matt made it a very unique and personable experience too, chatting with the audience and individual audience members, i spinning a wheel to determine which songs he would play, and just being an all around great guy. Great sense of humor, great performance.

Always a great show from the engaging, witty Matt Nathanson. This acoustic duo run with the wheel of song possibilities was, imo, absolutely fantastic! Great mix of songs from the latest release, previous cds, really obscure songs, covers, and of course, witty commentary/banter. If you get the chance to see a show on this tour, by all means go!!

Other than the 40 year old teenage girls in the front row blocking hundreds of people's views including mine and security not doing anything to prevent it, even though there was a designated dancing area, it was a great Matt show as usual.

There are many artists I'll see repeatedly. There aren't many I'll see in an outdoor venue during a fall rainstorm. Matt is a rare human and I always feel so lucky whenever I see him perform. This event was powerful and emotional and I loved every minute.

Matt Nathanson is a MUST-SEE!! He's hilarious and interacts with the crowd, plus his music sounds even better live! This is my second time seeing him, and I hope it's not my last!

Matt nathanson was so great! He was so interactive with the crowd. He went out into the crowd, he communicated with certain fans in the audience. His songs were great and flowed smoothly with transitions and introductions. He gave wonderful tributes to prince and did some other great covers. His dancing was great and he has a hilarious personality. Great show.

Awesome. He had the tough job of opening a show where everyone was waiting for the Fray and Train to play. it was seven, bright outside, hot, and everyone was generally tough to get hyped up. However, this guy knows how to engage an audience. In between songs he wasn't afraid of pointing out people in the audience who stood out. He referred to someone in the front row as "the man with the python arms." He also did some interesting things like walking through the crowd during a song. When it comes to music, he is talented and you can tell he cares about putting on a great show. Overall, I did not know who he was before, but now I do and I am a fan

Amazing performer! So energetic and a complete people person. He was hilarious. The venue has a part where you can come out into the crowd and be surrounded by them and he did come out and sing on that part of the stage. He came out into the crowd and through the albums and was engaging with the crowd. He played some a lot of crowd favorite songs from multiple albums, not just songs from the newest album. He is someone definitely worth seeing live. As long as he comes to a city close by, I will always go and see him. He is that great of a performer. He just loves the crowd. I didn't get to do the meet and greet but I heard from people that he is so personable.

Planned my vacation around his St. Augustine show. He did not disappoint! Amazing that he was able to do what he did in that heat/humidity! I'd travel 1,100 miles to see him again. Although it would be nicer if he just came back to Chicago!
