Dapz (aka DAPZ ON THE MAP) is part of the next generation of great urban grime mc/singers. Born in Birmingham, he grew up with Caribbean influences, from Sean Paul & Red Rat to the new sounds of underground grime and rap, THE MOVEMENT & BBK. He combines it all into his own neo-soulful sound, which he developed in Wolverhampton studio with the guidance from friend/producer DJ Apostle. His excellent sound is truly unique, with many members from the Birmingham elite group of MCs such as Invasion, Stayfresh & Lady Leshurr, to being cosigned by major UK artists such as Professor Green, Shola Ama, BBK & Ghetts.
