Played over 2 hours . Only qualm is that he didn't play Rockin in the Free World, but based on the setlist of past dates this tour, I should have known that wasn't in the cards.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse were in fine form. The highlight of the show was their guitar interplay on “Love and Only Love.” It was great to hear the lost verse of “Cortez the Killer” in concert. The Orion is a great venue.

I hated the opening act. The choir was fine but having that Reverend Billy, wearing that tv preacher, white suit, made me ill. Neil young was excellent. He still has energy. Just wished he played more of the hits.

Neil can still sing, has a huge catalog of songs from which to choose from and still likes to stretch out his guitar playing. His set choices were excellent,…only song missing in my opinion was Southern Man…..excellent audience…..

It’s Neil Young. You’ve got a love, Neil Young’s heart and worldview. That screechy voice of his just reaches right into your soul and grabs you. The signature amount of sloppiness in the way, he plays his chords and harmonica adds so much character and depth to his music. This gets four stars for me because I didn’t know Neil Young was a traveling without a band. He was a solo act the whole night and played virtually no rock ‘n’ roll. This was a very sentimental and reflective concert sticking close to themes of love and loss and change. I love how he told stories of how he got the instruments that he was playing. Most of them were very old and reclaimed. This felt something like a farewell tour, but it may not be.

First time at this venue. It’s large and has a wide open layout and a variety of viewpoint options. Glad we purchased reserved seats but lack of incline/decline contributed to difficulty seeing and hearing with large immobile patrons seated in front of us. Staff were very friendly and helpful directing us to various vendors and walkways. Checkin was easy as was prepaid parking. Neil was as always a talented and versatile performer with his personality and gentle manner.

One of the best concerts we've seen. Personal, intimate, all Neil and a one man show. Neil played solo and filled the stage with stories, almost like watch and feeling a book being written. We enjoyed it tremendously! That's entertainment!

I loved every minute of this show!! The SetList is all the rage.. He has a reason for the season so to speak, the theme was "LOVE" and I caught that after the second song.. then every other song had a reference to, love.. I really approved of the messages he brought last nigh!! One for the books.. I LOVE NEIL YOUNG and all is work.. just to hear him with guitar and harmonica, made for a special night!!

It was great to see Neil Young, while his voice is not what it once was, his guitar playing, keyboards. and wit were worth the visit. I wish he had played a few more of the hits. I know the purpose for him is to to the "B" sides, but I still hoped he would hit a few more biggies (Old Man? Harvest Moon??). The big down side was the opening act. If you are going to see the show and Chris Pearce is the opening act, I would suggest showing up late. (Neil, you can do so much better!)

There may be no greater Neil Young fan than I am. I've seen him several times. At the Rady Shell, he was not at his best. He chose not to turn on the video monitors so most of the audience in this very large venue could see almost nothing of him. He chose, as promised, to devote about 80% of the show to songs that were not well known. He attempted 'small talk', asking repeatedly how everyone was doing and what they were 'up to.' Then he chastised the audience for not having enough energy to sing along. If you don't engage an audience, then they don't engage with you. I'm not sure what Neil wanted to accomplish on this tour, but I don't think he did it in San Diego.

Neil has barely lost a step. No setlist. Kept Promise of the Real on their toes all night. Great backup. Neil doesn’t have to do everything with Promise. They can harmonize great. Sing lead on a couple. Both Micah and Lucas also play lead on a couple. Let’s Neil pace himself. They played lots of old stuff including New Mama off Tonight’s The Night for the first time since 1977. He did My Heart off Sleeps with Angels for the first time since 1995 with Neil on piano and Lucas and the boys harmonizing around one mic. Just a great show all around with people from all over the country there. They sold all the tickets through the Neil Young archive so it was mainly true believers there.

What a show. Well worth it and greatly exceeded my expectations. We were grinning the whole show. It was off the hook. Highlights for me were Alabama, Powderfinger, Everybody Knows This Is Knowhere and Winterlong. So damn good

I’ve been there many times, the most beautiful venue in the city, acoustically perfect, i’ve seen return to forever there I’ve seen Frank Zappa there and I’ve seen four nights of string cheese incident New Year’s shows, can’t wait to go see Neil☮️

I went this first night, was blown away. Went Monday night and was expecting a much different set list, it mimicked the first show. It was a slow show with many repeats, being the last show he could of switched things up and treated us to some true classics such as Southern Man, Old Man, After the Gold Rush etc But it was a quality good show

it was an historic event - i feel so fortunate to have seen him “solo” songs i’ve heard my whole life. He brought 4 pianos - 7 guitars - 5 harmonicas and a ukulele - he blends his instruments and accents so flawlesslywith his voice it truly was amazing-

There is no bad Neil Young show. There were a few people in the crowd, but Neil showed his quality. Neil also brought and introduced me to John Hammond...John is OMG good, and I wasn’t aware of him prior. Well worth the money and the time.

Neil Young was simply outstanding. Lots of great songs both new and old ones. His backing group Promise of the Real stood up to the old man and played and sang as if they'd never done anything else. Great musicianship, great songs and great surroundings. Whatelse can you ask for?

almost three hours of solid Mr. Young music. I liked the zero show on the stage. :) Why having a light show and pyrotechnics, when four white spots do the job. P.S. Always a nice venue, the Waldbühne in Berlin!

My Hydro baptism and Neil did not disappoint..jeez he played for two and a half hours. The voice was pristine...he's lost nothing there and his and the band's performance was superb..Neil Young still rocks like only Neil Young can..fantabulous !

What an amazing talent, and Mr. Young is an inspiring activist with true passion for EVERYTHING we face in this world today. His voice is as mellifluous as ever, and he entertains all who are fortunate to see his genius!
