The Fossicks are flying the flag of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Four mates from Sydney’s west, the band channels the best of 70s glam crossed with 90s rhythms, and a heap of 80s funk for good measure.

Meeting at TAFE, with shared appreciation for the Foos, Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys and the gods Kiss and Sabbath, the four friends initially started as a TAFE band before line up changes saw their original drummer leave to make way for Jacob Douglas to complete the line‐up for their previous incarnation as 'Flaccid Mohawk'. Now armed with a more serious outlook, and a new name to boot The Fossicks are ready to go and make their mark.

Releasing the Silk Road EP and with gigs up and down the east coast, the band began 2017 by holing up at Sky Valley Studios in NSW Blue Mountains to record an album for release in 2018.

With the combination of Jack Vietze’s ripping guitar solos, along with frontman David Pedrucci’s soaring vocals and KJ’s funky bass back-­‐bone, The Fossicks bring every golden era of rock into one formidable palette, and a sound all their own.
