Beautiful, natural kind of personell introduction into songs. That makes all the difference on empathy to music enjoyment and kind of creates a passionate connection to the audience 👏🙌. Brilliant sound, light and solo show, given an interesting variety of guitars to hear and see, last but not least the piano John 😁❤️one wonders how he brings these sounds and rhythms out 👌just a superb performance. I drove one way roughly 700 miles and I have to say, it was worth every minute of the time/money invest. I am so glad I made it to the concert. Not only are the John Mayer fans prepared to go the „longer“ ways 😅they are a special kind of fan group but even the next door shopping center to the ziggo dome in Amsterdam played John Mayer music as the gig before the gig feeling 😂. Great place to have John singing in the ziggo Dome. Professional soundings. The „Solo Tour“ I rate 130 % success. But one wish for future fan potential 🙏to the tour management: 👉Can this super musician please play in Germany too one day in dream future. I mean hey last time (2019) I flew 11 hours to SFO. The conclusion: Please more Europe shows. I am sorry I wasn’t born in the states. Seriously: Pure brilliance, one just wants to let the autopilot drive you home to not ruin the after effects. All the Best 🤘🍀🎸🎤5 star plus.

Mayer was great! Great song selection, great sound, no complaints about the concert itself. But we paid over $200 for 2 tickets, sat at the very top back row and the first 20 mins we had an obstructed view. Mayer was sitting on a stool and was blocked by the speakers hanging down and the screens were partially obstructed, as well. Thankfully he moved and we were able to see him the rest of the time. It would have been fine if the tickets would have been less money and the seats would have been advertised as obstructed view, but they shouldn't advertise them incorrectly. Also, when did concerts just become places to chat?! I know this will just make me sound old, but I go to a concert to HEAR the artist, not the people sitting next to me loudly catching up on the past 6 months. The seats at the top/back should be priced accordingly so we can afford to sit closer and enjoy the show with people who want to be there. Just my two cents.

JP Saxe was a wonderful surprise as the support act. John didn’t seem comfortable for the first half of his set. It was good, not great. Felt too much like an arena show, rather than just a night with John hanging out and playing songs and relaxing with friends. John didn’t talk much. JP Saxe looked and felt more comfortable in this room than John. I think John’s scripted approach to segments of the show and lights out between songs, etc. contributed to keeping the barrier up and making it feel like a less-intimate arena show.

Favorite show of his in my 5th time going. Great atmosphere at Climate Pledge - easy to get in and out, clean, good concessions, no complaints for venue. The opener Alec Benjamin was... fine. There were I think some issues with his sound mixing, but his pitch he sings in doesn't make that easy combined with him fumbling over his too-wordy lyrics. Not terrible, but not great. John was fantastic. For 2 hours and 15 minutes over 28 songs, he captivated an entire arena. I got to hear 5 of my top 20 songs of his played live for the first time, including Tracing an unreleased B-side that almost no one else in the venue seemed to know. We got In Your Atmosphere with the full outro, Edge of Desire with an insane lights show, and when playing Changing on the piano he was at one point playing the electric guitar with his left hand while his right hand played the piano. Insane, magical, wonderful - an unforgettable experience.

Thank you very much for this show!!! John gave us two hours of solid solo guitar music!! Loved the experience, he sang the songs I wanted this time too! I bought a ticket to the livestream, so that counts as being there, right? Doesn't matter. This show was one for the ages. 'Born And Raised', the record, start to end (including bonus track) being played acoustic was a real TREAT. That album should've received much more love than it ever got. If you come across a recording of this show, grab it with both hands and never let it go. PS: John Mayer was brilliant, as usual.

This was my first ever live show and it was incredible. We had a great view from our seats, John and his band were amazing, the atmosphere was intoxicating and it was just an amazing night. John spent ages talking with the audience, jamming and performing that it felt like the night lasted forever and was such great value for money. Definitely a night I'll always remember!

Amazing concert! John Mayer is just an all around amazing entertainer! I didn’t think it was possible for someone to connect so closely with a huge crowd like that but he made everyone there feel special, even me sitting in the nosebleeds. I was in awe the entire time by his talent. I knew he was an amazing guitarist, but seeing him play his heart out live was such a great experience. The stage design was beautiful! The entire band was just out of this world with talent. I love how John makes every member of his band get their own little time to shine. I really felt like I got my money’s worth with his two hour performance. Honestly one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to and I hope he comes back because I will be there!

John’s song writing, amazing guitar playing and great voice sets him apart from his contemporaries. Seeing him on stage all the time is like the first time. Thank you, Johnny. This tour marks strong rhythms and tempos that challenge tradition however set this band off on a never ending path of continuous improvement and success Whoever thought the first night was slow missed the mark. The band is tight and so are the loyal crowd who bring positive spirits and energy happens. John is jumping and Otiel’s face paint a sign of the serious deadication!

The haze of tobacco, vape and weed smoke was staggering. Not a prude but I had to leave early as I'm not that into clove/peanut butter/rutabaga vapes (or whatever God-awful stench they put out) and my respiratory system was shutting down. Smoke 'em if you got them but wow. Was I the only person there not blowing something out of their lungs? If the crowd was trying for some kind of record for man-made smog, congrats, you did it. If Dead music is your thing, I sincerly hope you had fun, it's a wonderfully eclectic crowd at the show.

The last decade and a half has seen a steady infiltration of general arrogance bordering on contempt for his audiences - short sets, interminable periods pre-encore... Great playing I grant you, but the sneering attitude of a spoilt brat that has marred the experience. Melbourne's appearance was absolutely back on form, a lengthy, fluid, entertaining show, heartfelt thanks and genuinely sincere banter for his embattled fans. The man is a wit, a master of his instrument and, thankfully, now, once again, a joy to be around.

Such an amazing event. I love JM’s celebration of instrumental music as well as vocals. I love how he can switch genres so fluidly. I love his candid processing of his journey - his highs, lows, wonderings and wanderings - and how he has shared it in his lyrics. And I love his cargo pants... Only he could do this so well. My first John Mayer concert! The chronological setlist was a lovely touch... He did not disappoint. Every song was performed with so much skill and feel. The guitar solos were everything I imagined they'd be. 🔥🎸🔥 And the band was amazing too! The only issue I had was with the crowd staying seated. Who goes to a concert to sit? And worse, when any of us stood up to dance, people behind would complain. Ah, well!

I experienced one of the most meaningful random acts of kindness ever in my life on 12/30/18. As I'm sure you can imagine, seeing Dave Chapelle & John Mayer together that night was outstanding! We had seats about 5 rows from the top of the venue which was good enough for me. After Jeffrey Ross opened and John Mayer was playing his 2nd song, ( my all time favorite JM song) a woman walking up the stairs bent down and handed my friend 2 tickets. We thought she was asking if she was in the right place but that wasn't it at all. She told my friend, as he had the aisle seat, that she & her husband couldn't stay and wanted us to have their tickets. We thanked her and she walked away. Turns out the seats were in the 2nd row of the section just above the floor, right next to the stage!! It was the perfect spot..nothing obstructing our view, close enough to see their facial expressions, and smell Chapelle's cigarette smoke. I still can't believe it happened and wish I could tell that woman how deeply her random act of kindness touched me. I have no idea who she was and most likely never will. It was literally one of the best things that has ever happened to me considering how much I love John Mayer. I am going to do my best to pay it forward and will be forever grateful to that beautiful woman... whoever she was. ❤❤❤❤❤
