Orestes is one of the most recognized drummers in Latin America. His work fusing musical genres including: Afro, Latin, Hip Hop, and Jazz has earned him international recognition.
He has travelled the world playing and collaborating with some of the most respected bands of
Latin America including; Los Amigos Invisibles, Gustavo Dudamel, Caloncho, Mcklopedia, Apache, Akapellah, Redbull Batalla de los Gallos.
His most recent production, titled "Experiencia Curiara", demonstrates the new sounds of Latin America. Where the textures and traditional songs, are combined with the most current jazz and electronic sounds, creating an energetic show that provokes many emotions, accompanied by instrumental virtuosity.
This show is the future. Using voices from his own album, which are real recordings of Venezuelan musicians, sampling them and using them live to generate sensations through many distinct rhythms and traditional songs mixed with hip hop and jazz.
