DNR is a 4 piece (complete with dual bass) band out of Providence, RI. A mix of punk, thrash, grindcore and metal with some bluesy riffs thrown in for good measure. Members have been playing in the Providence music scene for decades. Kenny Ruhle (bass, vocals) was formerly in Self Destruct (metal), Gringo (punk), Doosh Bags (punk), Gut Bucket (metal) Doosh Bucket (punk). Ryan Weedon (guitar,vocals) formerly in Doosh Bags, Murdergram (metal), Gut Bucket and currently also in Paraplegics (punk). Jason Pelletier (drums) formerly in Facial Defecation (metal), Phlegm (metal), Doosh Bucket and currently also in Dead Girls Don’t Say No (metal). Melissa Ruhle (bass) formerly in Doosh Bucket. It’s been said that we’re “too metal for punk, too punk for metal”. Whatever genre we do or do not fit into … it’s heavy and we like it. DNR is a new project with former members of Doosh Bucket.
