Dead to Fall was a Chicago/Minneapolis, USA based metalcore band, formed in 1999. Dead to Fall draws influences from swedish metal, hardcore, death metal, and other genres, but is usually labeled as a metalcore band. Though metalcore is often considered to be a dying, over-played genre, Dead to Fall remains one of the few innovators left. The band has been through numerous lineup changes, with vocalist Jon Hunt being the only original member from the band's formation. On April 8th, 2008, vocalist Jon Hunt announced on the band's Myspace Blog that Dead to Fall had officially broken up.
