The Legendary Shack Shakers never disappoint! This was my 7th time seeing them in Grand Rapids! Such high energy and incredible talent by all members of the band. JD Wilkes is a phenomenal entertainer! I could just watch and listen to him all night! The opening band Viva le Vox was also surprisingly amazing as well! I would definitely see them again! They were so imaginative in their musical style and visual appeal. The whole evening was filled with incredible talent!

Th' Legendary Shack Shakers were absolutely phenomenal. They hit the stage prepared to absolutely go balls to the wall for the audience that came there. Energetic, hilarious, and electrifying. I had been looking forward to seeing them again after so many years, and they fulfilled all of my hopeful expectations. However... The venue, King of Clubs, was abysmal. I doubt that they did any promotion for this event at all. Presale tickets were not available for purchase, only being able to purchase at the door in cash. (Heck, they don't even have their website spelled properly on their Facebook page.) The band had an audience that topped out at 30 people, way below what the band was expecting. The small crowd was embarassing, and the band did their best to handle it. The bartender was extremely nice, but was evidently left with a mess on her hands, with malfunctioning beer taps, incorrect beers having been delivered, and no one backing her up. I gotta say, I don't feel like this place even wants to be in business.

All bands were good ! Rockabilly/Psychobilly and really well played. Lot of energy. Dex is a total original for my money. And the headliners the Shack Shakers blew the roof off the joint.

The Legendary Shack Shakers with legendary Col. JD Wilkes and legendary guitar whiz David Lee were absolutely outstanding! This is a band who deserves more recognition and praise, as well as a packed venue no matter where they play. High energy performances from all 4 band members, high energy tunes from their earliest albums to their most recent cuts. David Lee is a marvel with his SWEET Gretsch White Falcon signature guitar. He's a charismatic performer---one of those dudes who just looks ultra-cool on stage. JD Wilkes continues to be THE front man of front men as well as one of the best french harp players I've ever heard. This band was TIGHT and they ROCKED! Rockabilly-ish, swamp blues---whatever they want to call their style of music, it is FAST-PACED, toe-tapping fun. GREAT concert. They are simply a can't-miss band and it was a HUGE thrill to see Wilkes and Lee back together again!

Love the Shack Shakers! However, I feel like the show was shorter than it should have been. Just when they were getting things ramped up, they seem to have abruptly pulled the plug. I was kinda bummed it was over so quickly.

Would've been a 5 star if they would've played AFTER the support band. We missed part of the show because of this. The Sadies were good as well, but concorde should've announced the weird schedule.
