Andreas Wolff

Andreas Wolff is a pianist and composer and was born in 1993 in Coburg, Germany. He discovered his love for the piano at the age of 19 and found his calling. His music is characterised by its emotional, atmospheric and neoclassical style.

Before his career as a pianist, Andreas Wolff worked as a DJ for the largest Internet radio station for electronic dance music (EDM) in Germany. He has performed in several clubs and at major events across the country.

Heavily influenced by film music and his EDM background, he began learning the piano as a self-taught pianist in the summer of 2013. A year and a half later, he applied to the vocational school for music in Kronach, where he was then trained in classical piano and music theory for two years. With this newly acquired knowledge, he found his way to improvisation and composition. At the renowned FRANZ LISZT University of Music in Weimar, he then completed both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree programme, specialising in piano and music theory (with a particular focus on composition).

Andreas Wolff celebrated his concert debut in November 2015 when he brought neoclassical piano music to the audience of his hometown in a charity concert. In 2017, he released his first EP ‘Alone In The Wild’. That year, he travelled through Europe with his piano, busking in various major cities to share his compositions with the people there. He spent most of his time in London, where he returned several times in the following years.

In 2018, Andreas Wolff released ‘Wayfaring’, a musical diary of his travels through Europe. In 2019, he presented his album ‘Mosaic’ with a successful pre-release in London. In February 2022, he digitally released his single ‘Para Ti’, followed by ‘Blackbird’ in August 2024 and his latest composition ‘Home’ in January 2024.

His successes include several #1 hits in the classical music charts, appearances for German TV and radio stations, two concerts at Ehrenburg Castle in Coburg and a music video by director Sion R. Joseph, which has won several international film festival awards. Andreas Wolff has also played at numerous private and commercial events in Germany and abroad.
