Jessica’s debut album, Painted (released Feb 2011) produced by Grammy-nominated producer Billy Smiley, features a pallet of Jessica’s original compositions that showcase her exceptional song-crafting skills. The band, originally designed as a backing band to support Painted, quickly developed into Jessica Long & The New Kind, and has been touring nationally ever since. A fusion of Jessica’s song-writing skills and gorgeous vocals, along with the outstanding musicality of the band, Jessica Long & The New Kind has developed a fresh new sound emerging on the scene.
