Very nice set, too short for me !
The bass was a bit too loud, so it was sometimes hard to catch the sound of lead guitar.

Über We Hunt Buffalo
We Hunt Buffalo delivers hard hitting fuzz rock with delicious grooves and psychedelic overtones. Spanning nearly a decade and currently galloping towards the release of their fourth studio album, We Hunt Buffalo is ready for the kill.
“Head Smashed In is definitely our heaviest effort to date,” begins guitarist and vocalist Ryan Forsythe of their October 2018 offering. “The song “Heavy Low” has us experimenting with new drop tunings. The track “Prophecy Wins” is a more progressive, instrumental structure that was fun to experiment with. And “Angler Must Die” is a straight ahead barnburner that sees me taking on screaming duties for the first time!”
Their newly streamlined, bombastic sound is the direct result of years of perfecting their sound both live and in recorded form.
After forming in Vancouver, We Hunt Buffalo’s debut EP introduced the band that was “dedicated to tracking down and capturing the dying breed of rock and roll” (Georgia Strait).
The band went on to release Blood From a Stone. Recorded at Nimbus School of Recording Arts by Alex 'Condor' Aligizakis, the title track was hailed by Exclaim! Magazine as "…a fuzz-bomb riff that would make Tom Morello proud… Indeed this is a headbanger's paradise." In December 2013, We Hunt Buffalo was added as direct support to Monster Truck on their cross Canada tour. The remainder of the year saw them doing multiple tours supporting the likes of Sleepy Sun, Band of Skulls and Biblical. In the years since, they've shared stages with Red Fang, Electric Wizard, Earthless, Elder, Truckfighters, Monolord, Monster Truck, Chevelle, Matt Mays, Danko Jones, Electric Six, and Nightseeker (of Fubar fame). Amidst bombastic international tours and growing acclaim, the band unleashed their debut Living Ghosts in 2015 via a coalition between New Damage Records (Canada) and Fuzzorama Records (rest of world). Hailed as "both heavy and catchy" by PopMatters, Ghost Cult Magazine raved, "imagine the offspring that would be conceived by a three-way between A Perfect Circle, Spiritual Beggars and Mastodon. That’s pretty much what we have here, and it’s wonderful."
On Head Smashed In, expect a band that’s coming into its own. “Lyrically we still have our apocalyptic theme carrying forward from the last record,” explains Forsythe. “There’s also an honest perception of the day-to-day life of being in a band are expressed in the song “Industry Woes.”” This album sees the addition of bassist, vocalist, and moog player Cliff Thiessen. He joins Forsythe and longstanding drummer Brandon Carter. “His individual stylings have fit in great and I think that fans of the band will agree that it is a good direction for us. Brandon also added his vocals for the first time... and we have discovered he can scream!” Returning to Jesse Gander’s infamous Rain City Recorders (the same studio and producer who captured Living Ghosts), the final result is dynamic and a clear step forward for the trio, so turn it up LOUD and wrap yourself in a warm blanket of fuzz!
