Formed in late 2013 by guitarist/vocalist Rachael Whittle upon her return from University in Southampton, ILSER began on its current trajectory in the summer of 2014. Following a steady 2014 spent building a reputation on the live circuit and honing their sound, the first release arrived in December of that year in the shape of the 'Led By Silence/Forgotten Youth' double a-sider. Appearances at leading regional festivals Evolution Emerging and Stockton Calling followed in the first half of 2015, as well as shows with renowned national acts such as Dinosaur Pile-Up, Demob Happy and Kagoule. After a winter spent self-producing their debut EP in a range of locations throughout the UK, 'Reverie' arrived in April 2016 to moderate acclaim and a host of national shows - including a return to Stockton Calling Festival. Currently at work on their next release, ILSER are constantly at work on the live circuit. Niche AF
