A bio by Tom Ryan: Bacio \ ba-cee-oh \ n. : italian for 'kiss'; I'll give you a Bacio! Bacio is an American post-rock outfit of five guys hailing from suburban New Jersey. The band, originally formed in 2005 by drummer Matt Weber and keyboardist Andrew Spence, produces a unique blend of instrumental-driven music punctuated with spare harmonic vocals. The combination of soaring guitars, inventive drumming and celestial keys create a welcoming soundscape for singer/guitarist John Helmuth's warm melodies. The occasional use of acoustics and slide guitar lends a folk-rock hand to their already diverse music. With a handful of EPs in their catalog; including their most recent effort, Influences (cover songs of the band member’s favorite bands), Bacio is currently writing and recording a full length album due out late 2012 / early 2013.
