Crooked Vinyl

Crooked Vinyl is an original alternative rock band from Oklahoma City made up of former members of The Red Plains. In early 2019, lead singer Michael Trimmell, lead guitarist Barrett Bell, rhythm guitarist Derek Hossbach, and bassist David Steele left The Red Plains moniker behind in favor of the name, Crooked Vinyl, when they added West Virginia native, Keith Coffindaffer on drums.
Inspiration for Crooked Vinyl's musical style is drawn from legendary rock bands such as Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Police, Jimi Hendrix, and The Who. With a new name and line up, the quintet continue to develop a sound that maintains their signature blend of jazzy rhythms, engaging guitar riffs, melodic basslines, and dynamic blues vocals, with the addition of an expert level of technicality behind the kit.
