Black Label Society

BLS was phenomenal. Zakk is an absolute legend on the guitar. First time seeing him with BLS and I wasn’t disappointed. The Society was out in full force with BLS vests and shirts everywhere. These fans are super die hard and loyal to the BLS. Great performance. As far as the festival itself, and I’m sure Zakk probably doesn’t have full control of, but there are some improvements to be made. Cell service was essentially nonexistent. Communication to the outside world was impossible. Fortunately it wasn’t needed. Concessions were not prepared. It was 80-85 degrees out and yet the beverages were warm. Ice them down. Secondly, security and general staffing was poor. People were not checked for their seats in the main amphitheater. People could go wherever they wanted which then caused people to not have the seats they paid for. Aisles were not maintained with people swarming and filling the aisle-ways. Not much point in paying extra for an aisle seat when the aisle disappears. When I pay for seat I expect to have it and not have to fight for it. If I wanted to fight for my space, I would buy pit tickets where it’s expected to have to claim your space and hold onto it. Beef up the staffing and verify people are where they belong. But overall the festival was great. I’m glad I travelled the four hours to go. It was worth it.

Amazing event venue, I’ve seen Black Label Society here before and the lights are great, the sound could be better but still good. Black label always put on a great show and since it was my first time seeing Anthrax, it was really good to see both bands in this venue bc it keeps it on a smaller stage which is kinda intimate than say, the forum, Overall, great location for live music.

This was the last night of the tour, and all three bands brought it! Exodus ordered a pit almost immediately and the fans were happy to comply. BLS ramped up the energy (and volume) and just killed it. Amazing. Anthrax did not disappoint with a valiant effort to blow out every speaker (and eardrum) in the place. They announced their plan to go back into the studio for a new album so we will see them again in 2024. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. I can't wait to see all three incredible bands again (and hopefully sooner rather than later).

I love BLS and Zakk Wylde, so it is with a heavy heart that I have to say this. The sound mixer screwed up last night! The whole right side (Dario’s) side did not get to hear any of Zakk’s guitar or singing, it was all Dario.?I think he is great but I am there to see & hear Zakk, which I did not get at all. BLS was awesome as usual but the venue was so crowded you couldn’t even get to the floor, people were standing at the doorways just to see. Between sets the lobby was so packed it took 15-20 to get to the bathroom. Not to mention it took a half hour to park in the parking garage. Missed some of Exodus and were there 30 minutes before the show.

Black Label Society as always never disappoints. Great set list & as always Zakk, Dario, John & Jeff rocked the house… Anthrax was great too & the bonus of having Exodus on the bill was great. Wellmont Theater, is one of the best places to see great bands. Staff, security & sound quality are top shelf!!

Probably one of the greatest shows of my 54 years. And I've been to some shows. Gotta be around 2000 over 40 years. Started way back in the 70s with Reo Speedwagon and Uriah Heep. Later in the 80s the Ultimate Revenge at Studio 54 Theater in Manhattan New York , New York. SLAYER , EXODUS AND VENOM. Through all the Ozzfest tours, Monsters of Rock at Cardinal Stadium in St. Louis. I cant wait for the Pantera Tribute show I pray they play Casper Wy. Getting time off work is like pulling teeth.

This was an absolutely incredible event. Since I was asked to review Black Label Society, this review is directed at their performance specifically. Amazing. Incredible. Unbelievable. Completely on target and precise. They played for a hour and a half non-stop. Amazing endurance and the guitar playing is out of this world. You have to see the guitar “duel”. Never seen anything at this level before. He is definitely at the top of his game. Voice sounded incredible as well. Thank you Zakk. He is amazing with his fans too. Just unbelievable. You have to see them!!! Playlist was right on target. Definitely has the pulse of what people love, want to see, and want to hear!

I loved it. The vip with BLSOCIETY was awesome. The guys treated us really well and I can’t wait to see them again in a few weeks in Chattanooga Tennessee. I’m going to see these guys as much as possible. They are that good. The Best in the business right now in my opinion. Way to go zakk wylde. You have created a band that will stand the test of time.

The show was great. Black Label and Black Stone Cherry were awesome! I started going to shows last year after I moved here, I am military. The security would not let me bring my umbrella in, which attaches to my folding chair, so I had to go back to my car. When I entered the event, there were umbrellas everywhere. I was not happy about that.

Was blown away .. Zakk and the boys Always GIFD ! If you want to see the best guitarist of this era , Zakk is your man. The one bad thing was covid precautions, so I didn't buy the vip ... Who wants to "social" distance for that price ? Not me ! But BLS puts on the best show around , hands down ! ☠︎︎༒︎𝕊𝔻𝕄𝔽༒︎☠︎︎

Great guitar sound. Zakk shld stick tp playing not singing. Zakk plays to the crowd. Yes that was me that got knocked to my ass by bouncer when I was standing at bar & Zakk stood on bar playing furious metal. Canton Hall a little too crowded but it was manageable. Once again, premium prices for booze. Pls stock PBR.

The bands were AMAZING!! I realize there was nothing that could be done about the rain for a couple days prior to the show. The mud didn’t stop us from having a great time! Can’t wait until the next show at Shiley Acres and hope to see BLS, COC, and Crutch play there again!!!

Le son était bien meilleur qu'il y a 3 ans lors de leur dernier passage. solide concert avec pas mal de titres du dernier album. il manquait pour moi plus de titres typiquement Black Label Society, plus punchy.... excellent malgré tout .. Super public ... Super ambiance ... Toujours la grande classe pour Zakk Wylde et ses musiciens

I can't possibly see enough to describe how amazing this show was. Red Fang came out and got the crowd fired up. COC jammed their way through an awesome set. Then the leader of the Black Label Society came out and destroyed all. Zakk ended the show with a crazy guitar solo that brought him out into the crowd and up along the balcony seats. It was loud and sonic and fantastic from beginning to end.

I was extremely surprised how good Red Fang was. Usually the first acts are not as good as you would like so this rating is just as much for the entire line-up that performed than just BLS. COC did not disappoint fans either. They came out and kicked a**. BLS was awesome they played songs from the past Genocide Junkies, Funeral Bell, Stillborn, Fire it Up, Concrete Jungle, mixed with songs from their newly released album Grimmest (which is An Excellent album). I have seen BLS in person more than 10 times and each time they F—-ing Kill it. It is great that Zakk loves these type of venues. Extremely up and personal. If you missed it I’m so sorry and the fans getting ready to Experience the MF BLS you will be blown away. The Ritz in Raleigh is a great place to see a concert and Thanks for the great experience even though it was raining you made the entry process quick & safe. BLS tSDMFt GI⚡️FD 💀

Awesome show! COC & Black Label rocked it out!!! Took my 13 y/o daughter she had a blast and she got to meet Pepper and shake his hand! Thank you guys for a kick ass show and memories we will never forget!!!! Thank you Pepper for taking the time talking with us!!!! Keep doing what you do! We love you guys!!!

Corrosion of Conformity never disappoints. Fabulous performance. Black Label Society is a monster of an act that undoubtedly deserves the respect ✊ it gives to their fans. Zakk Wylde is a beast on the guitar with a never ending energy that is infectious. Sound was fabulous and the music spanned across pretty much the entire Black Label music selection fro beginning to end. A 2 hour performance of non stop genius!!

The best guitarist on the planet and a great showman. Hendrix died when I was 16 years old I swear Zakk is the Hendrix. In the 21st century . It was Awesome and I mean “ change your life “ awesome pure passion for the guitar and music. BLS always has a new line up and every time I see them it’s great. Every man on that stage are great musicians. I’ve seen him at least 5 times and this time was the first I saw him play piano AWESOME

Amazing show the Boss sounded as good as ever JD was laying thunder on the bass Dario was fire on the fiddle and Jeff lauded the perfect foundation If you have a chance to catch them this tour do not pass it up!! COC was phenomenal as well . And if you don’t know the Doom of EyeHateGod you will this is a solid bill and when Red Fang joins the festivis it will be an added treat
