About Zulu MOON
Zulu Moon is a force of nature. Gravitating towards creative expression early on whilst searching for the perfect medium, she finally began pursuing the art of emceeing in 2011 to capture her spirit, affinity for words, music, performance and zest for the good life.
While her pursuit began in London, she honed her craft in Belgium surrounding herself with veterans, mentors and a supporting Hip Hop community who now recognise her as a formidable talent. She is a familiar face in the local circuit and has performed in Flanders at local shows, radios and festivals and also showcased in Liverpool, Eindhoven, Kathmandu, London & Hong Kong.
Moon's influences range from Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana & The Sex Pistols to Arrested Development, The Roots, Oddisee, Billie Holiday, Hiatus Kaiyote, Rapsody, Kendrick Lamar, Lady of Rage & A Tribe Called Quest. Her childhood dream of paying an RATM tribute is still alive.
She released her first single 'Realeyez' produced by Muzha and debuted her first EP 'Exoplanets' in 2015. Her newest EP 'V for Venom' is set to drop in 2017.
