Iulian Badea's versatile style of producing music, is eclectic and extravagant in form and structure which make for exciting and innovative productions. Having been exposed to an abundance of different music styles while growing up in Romania, he developed a sound that pushes the envelope every time you hear it. After the bloody revolution of 1989 in Romania, Iulian was bombarded with a variety of musical genres from hip-hop to reggae to 80's & 90's. In 2002 at only 13 years old he began going to the local nightclubs (yes it was possible at that time) and he was exposed to electronic music. After a few years attending many of the electronic music parties, Iulian managed to sign a contract with one of the local clubs. Since then Iulian's productions have been in the playlists of artists such Inland Knights, Richie Hawtin, Anthea, Adriano Escobar, Alin Prada, Dj Marika, Ciprian Iordache, Kolegu Dj ,Raoul Russu, Wender A, Stephan Bobinger, Sean Holland, Ovidiu Adrian, Deep J , David Britton,Ivan Delgado,Mike Davis ,Mario Faber,Dan C E Kresi ,Mihai Amatti.,Stratosfear Liveact, Brothers InProgress to name a few. In 2010 he landed a contract with a bigger club, which helped him connect with a variety of very important Romanian DJs & Producers like Adrian Eftimie, Alin Prada, Miss Dj Mara, Rosario Internullo and Marco Brigullia. Recently Iulian has been playing around Europe with a notable gig at the well known Egg nightclub in London. With releases on labels such as What Came First Recordings (Egg London Club), Microtech Records, Crossworld Records, TechZone Records and many other's. Iulian is fast becoming one of the most prolific exports to come out of Romania in recent history. Having recently joined Rondo to elevate his profile by joining a global collective of talent and industry insiders he is a welcome addition to their roster, providing new opportunities for collabs, productions and gigs on a more international level. Many things can be said about Iulian Badea's versatile style of producing music, some might say it's Eclectic, some others might say it's extravagan.
