Alanna Mosley

Alanna Mosley is a singer/songwriter from Carrollton, Mississippi. She grew up just around the corner from the Carroll County Picture Show (where the frog went down Bobbie Gentry's back in Ode to Billie Joe) and squarely between Mississippi John Hurt's home, Pops Staples' birthplace, and anybody's best guess at Robert Johnson's grave. Alanna is as Mississippi as they come, and her music reflects that rich rural sensibility and tradition.

For those who lament the lack of authenticity and artistry in today's American music, Alanna Mosley’s voice, guitar playing, and stage presence are a balm.
