Mary Owens

From a young age, Mary performed at her church and in various school productions thus cultivating her love for music and performance. This love led her to the musically rich city of Memphis, Tennessee to study music business and develop herself as an artist. With influences like Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Tori Kelly, Etta James, and Alicia Keys, Mary brings her own Memphis soul to R&B/pop accompanied by her acoustic guitar, which she began teaching herself while in high school. Mary plans to release an EP in 2014, but you don’t have to wait to hear this sultry songbird sing.
