About Tibican
Introducing Tibican, Kent based collective with ‘a beautiful sound and a big heart’. First release ‘When You Love Your Love’ was grabbed by BBC’s Abbie McCarthy and soon followed with features from DKFM California and a support slots at London’s The Borderline & 229 Club. Delving in self-confessed ‘Indie-Alt Pop’ the guys take inspiration from the likes of Oasis & The Smiths while echoing the sounds of Foals, Wolf Alice and Kings of Leon. Musically the guys carve huge and melodic indie anthems based around emotionally driven lyrics, rolling basslines and euphoric walls of noise. Reaping continued support, the guys independently released their first single ‘Your Kisses Work’ across all distributors in aid of global Lupus charities; Lupus UK, The Lupus Foundation of America & St Thomas Lupus Trust. Achieving 12k Spotify hits and features in ItsAllIndie, BBC Introducing & Scruff Of The Necks’ Weekly Top 5; This was then followed up with their joining forces with AWAL.
