Away at Lakeside

Away at Lakeside was started in Orem, Ut by JJ Farrell (Drums/Clean Vocals) and Bryan Romero (Lead Guitar) in early 2013 later adding Noah McKinney on Rhythm Guitar followed by Lead Vocalist Jorge and Bassist Bijan Parvizi to complete the band under the name Consider Us Next and began writing music together. Not soon after Bijan and Jorge left due to creative differences and work closer to a new project they had began. So down a vocalist and bassist they kept writing and working on music then finding bassist Baron Freeman and Steve Lopez for Lead Vocals and soon after changing the name from Consider Us Next to Away at Lakeside to better suit the new line up and sound brought. Since then have recorded a debut EP Hope For Those Who Are Lost at Jesse James Audio with Jake Clayson, Jeff Manning, And Clayton Blue. And have been playing shows since September 2014. And are currently writing new material. We have had the honor of sharing the stage with: City Of The Weak Along Came A Spider Outline In Color Famous Last Words Tear Out The Heart For All I Am Lions Lions Everyone Dies In Utah Incite Better Left Unsaid Spades and Blades Bad Seed Rising Alive Like Me Hour 24 We are Away At Lakeside a Post Hardcore band based out of Orem, UT!
