Freaky Frank Clementi

Renaissance man and major influence in New York's Electronic Music Culture since 1992. After the fall of the NY electronic music scene during the early 2000's, officials declared "raves"as illegal or taboo and shut down the scene. After all the propaganda was forgotten about, Frank founded Strong Island Underground and took responsibility as overlord by producing events that modeled after original raves while remaining hidden under the guise of everyday corporate nightclubs. In 2008, Freaky Frank, strategically held events, where he also DJ'd, in various venues across 120 miles, or 190 kilometers, of Long Island and brought refreshing changes to nightlife business. As revenue improved drastically, due to bars kept serving until 4am, rather than closing early due to disinterest and exhaustion. The various events hosted by Strong Island Underground, gave other DJ's a new home while introducing the new generation of club owners to next level sound & lighting.
