Dead Register

DEAD REGISTER is the cure for those who crave dark, tortured intimacy administered through gut-pulverizing sonic heft. Consisting of pianist and artist Avril Che, bassist and vocalist M. Chvasta, and drummer Greg Meisenberg, the trio blends elements of post-metal, sludge, and gothic rock to painstakingly craft their signature doomgaze sound.

Since its formation in 2013 the band has released two studio albums, three EPs, and seven music videos. In May 2022 DEAD REGISTER released their latest full-length effort, Alive. Engineered by the band during a whirlwind of lockdown, ennui, and existential angst, the album was mixed and mastered by Dan Dixon (Whores, The Life and Times, PLS PLS, Biters) and showcases stunning artwork by the late Stephen Kasner (Rotting Christ, Sunn O))), Justin Broadrick).
