Belvoir

Formed in 2014, Belvoir is a four-piece band from inner-city Houston, Texas. Since their high school days, the pop rock group has grown together; combining the talents of four individual artists to craft a unified and patently authentic sound. This authenticity is the foundation of the brand, whether it is in the studio or on stage, what you see is what you get, and they haven’t disappointed yet. In its early stages, the band released a 5 song EP titled "This Will Only Take a Second", still on Bandcamp today. It wasn’t until 2016 that the lead singer and songwriter (Brandt Archer) and his lead guitarist (Zachary Lee Motes) threw caution to the wind and dove headfirst into an eight month adventure, culminating in their first album debut in April 2017. The Way You Were Last Night has it all, including an iconic music video for the title track which gives the fans unique insight into Archer’s artistic vision.

The quick, upbeat tempo provided by drummer Skyler Scholtes, provides a perfect complement to Motes’ unique hooks while still supporting Archer’s dynamic vocal range and romantic lyrics. While Archer is the clear front man, songwriter, and vocalist, don't sleep on the harmonies provided by Mote’s in a number of tracks. As the band continues to grow its fan base, keep an eye out for their next EP which is set to release before the summer of 2018.
