Whippersnapper

Whippersnapper was a 5 piece melodic punk band, formed in 1992 hailing from Atlanta GA. Their music was fast paced punk with a melodic touch, much in the vein of Lagwagon, Strung Out, etc. Whippersnapper would release 3 albums in their career, the first released in 98 and the last in 02. Sometime shortly after their last album Whippersnapper unfortunately broke up, though few realized or heard about it. Whippersnapper has no official website and is listed as 'inactive' in the bands section of Fueled by Ramen, their final record label.

Whippersnapper was also the name of a folk/folk-rock supergroup formed in 1984, comprising ex-Fairport fiddle player Dave Swarbrick, present Fairporter Chris Leslie, alongside Kevin Dempsey and Martin Jenkins.
