About Chase Long Beach

Chase Long Beach, a southern-California ska-punk band, was formed in 2002 with Karen Roberts on vocals, Patt Fitzgerald on bass, and Ryan Sandoval on guitar. The band went through several members and played constant local shows in bars and clubs, but didn't achieve much commercial success. Eventually the band reformed itself in order to take a more serious direction, picking up Dustin Feldt and Ryan "Grandpa" Humphrey on trombone, Jimmy Finch on keyboards, Tristan Dolce on trumpet, Russell Feldt on lead guitar, and Jarod Freeman on drums. Following the release of its first EP, "Attack of the Fuzzy Things," the band enjoyed moderate success on MySpace.com, but went through another shuffling of its members to record the second EP at the end of 2005, "Molotov Cocktail Party." Russell, Jimmy, and Jarod were gone, with Emilio Corralez now on drums. The band has now become a veritable MySpace powerhouse, gaining much of its fanbase and industry leads through extensive online networking. The band's current line-up consists of Roberts, Fitzgerald, and Sandoval on vocals, bass and guitar respectively, Tristan Dolce and Meagan Christie (who had been in the band for a short time in 2005) both on trumpet, Drew Pederson on trombone, and Emilio Corralez on drums. Chase Long Beach is currently in-studio recording their first full-length album with Aaron Barrett of Reel Big Fish.
