Scarlet Wool

Winners of the 2013 Atlanta Fest talent search; Scarlet Wool formerly known as Purely Acoustic was made up of three sisters from Northwest GA., Tabitha, Erin and Hannah Fleenor. They were given the opportunity to learn to play musical instruments as children when their grandfather began building acoustic instruments after retiring from a career in the U.S. Navy. They spent the next ten years, unknowingly preparing for the call that God would place on their lives in 2010. While being a part of a youth worship band, they were given the opportunity to travel with another ministry to Northern Ireland to minister in schools and churches through music. Scarlet Wool began to take shape in order to fund their mission trips in 2010, 2011 and 2012. After much prayer, it was decided that 2012 would be that last year they would travel to Northern Ireland as they strongly felt the Lord leading them to step out in faith and pursue their own ministry here in America. God faithfully lead these three young ladies into a full schedule ranging from church services to colleges and even into a public school where they were given the freedom to sing music exalting the name of Jesus Christ. The time they spent in Northern Ireland provided many new friends and opened the door for Scarlet Wool to return there in the fall of 2014 after being invited to take part in a large music festival and enjoy their first international concert tour following the festival. The beginning of 2015 brought change that would usher in a new season for Scarlet Wool with the announcement that Erin would no longer be a part of the group. Their brother Matthew began playing percussion and brought male vocals to the group. The latest addition to the group is their youngest sister, Leanna, who came on full time in the fall of 2016 on the ukulele and mandolin. With the unique blend of musical tastes, talents and original song arrangements that they consistently bring to the platform, their fan base as well as their schedule continues to grow as they are able to reach across generational, as well as music genre gaps with the music God has placed in their hearts. With elements of Bluegrass, Folk, Contemporary and Gospel, you are sure to be ministered to as well as entertained as they devote themselves to sharing the gifts that the Lord has given them, should you have the opportunity to experience for yourself, what God is doing through them. It is their hearts desire to be a blessing and an inspiration to all but most importantly to allow God to order their steps in such a way that the love of Jesus Christ is evident in all they do in order to be a witness to the unsaved, that they may also come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.
