We were at this show, and it was great. All the performers were wonderful. I was amazed at how good they still sound after all these years. Especially when you consider their biggest hits were recorded in the 60's and 70's. I was glad to hear Ron Dante was singing with The Turtles, and he even sang The Archies' Sugar, Sugar. But, I was a bit disappointed when he didn't sing Tracy by The Cuff Links. Oh, well, maybe next time. I highly recommend this show.

I just saw the Happy Together Tour show in Atlantic City, NJ. It was fabulous! I must highlight the fantastic Little Anthony, who was worth the price of admission alone. The Cowsills, Vogues, Jay and the Americans, were in fine form. Unfortunately, Gary Puckett's voice was not great. Having said that as a Baby Boomer, I must respect the fact that Gary has the guts to take the stage at his age. A wonderful evening!

The concert was great, although a few artists were a little rough. The Cowsills were good, but they had sound issues, which were resolved by the time the Vogues came on. The Vogues and Little Anthony stole the show and were excellent. Gary Puckett was terrible, and just too old. He couldn't sing or stick any of the notes. But overall, the concert was great.

We love this show so much! The Cowsills are wonderful!! They are so fun and uplifting. Brings back feelings of my younger days. Jay & the Americans were great also! The Volume was a bit to loud. The lead singer has such a beautiful and powerful voice his Mic didn't need to be set on loud. Many people were holding their ears around us. Little Anthony was great!! So sweet and funny and sings so well.
The Vogues were amazing also. Their harmony's were beautiful. Love their songs. Ron did a great job for Howard and Mark from the Turtles. Ron is fun and sings really well for them. I loved this show. I've seen it many times and never get tired of it. Sometimes we just need some feel good great music and to get away from the sad and trying days of everyday life. Thank you for bringing them to Ruth Eckerd. We truly enjoyed this show.. Hope to see them again.

The Happy Together Tour was great! Ruth Eckerd Hall was the perfect venue for it with a very personal feel and extremely nice staff. The performing artists were terrific! From the opening act (The Cowsills) to the closing (The Turtles), the show was nonstop fun!
Thanks to all the entertainers, and especially the Ruth Eckerd staff for making it such a memorable event!

It was a great concert all in all.
Here's the good:
1. The seating provided sufficient legroom and the seats were comfortable for the 2 1/2 hour show.
2. Parking was ample and a short walk.
3. Acoustics were good for a concert.
4. I loved the Cowsills, Jay and the Americans, and Little Anthony. All of them had a lot of energy and I couldn't believe the notes the lead singer from Jay and the Americans and Little Anthony were hitting. Everything the Cowsills sang sounded fantastic.
5. It was a treat having Ron Dante sing, "Sugar, Sugar". Why not, "Tracy", as well?
5. The rest of of the performers put on a good performance, with one exception (below).
Here's the needs more work:
1. Mens and womens bathrooms being located on opposite sides of the auditorium made it very inconvenient to use them, if you seat was on one side and the restroom on the other. You really couldn't cut through the the rows so you had to go all the way around.
2. It would have been nice to have the performers gather after the concert to meet and greet people, sign autographs, sell memorabilia, etc. At other HTT venues, this is the case. Why not Melbourne?
3. For a HTT, not having anyone from the Turtles seemed odd. I understand Mark Volman was ill, and though Ron Dante did his best as a replacement, and a great singer in his own right, it sounded nothing like the Turtles.
4. I loved Gary Puckett and the Union Gap back in the 60s, but Gary Puckett's performance at the show sounded NOTHING like he did from before. He could not hit any of the notes, and didn't sing in the same way as the original songs. Not one song sounded good. Very disappointing. I would recommend going back to having bands like the Association or the Buckinghams.

I attend this oldies concert every August at the KY State Fair. While I don't mind the same bands a couple years in a row, it was nice to see 2 new ones this week. Of course, we missed Gary Puckett.
If this show continues and the band members age, maybe start adding some popular groups from the early 1970s?

What an amazing show! The voices were spot on, harmonies were pitch perfect, and the songs were perfect choices. The Cowsills started the show with "Indian Lake"and for the next two hours, I was a teenager again, listening to my AM radio at the lake with my friends. I do wish they had introduced, or at least acknowledged the backing band, which was outstanding. The front row chairs were placed too close to the stage and those people actually had partially blocked views. This show is well worth the admission!

All of the acts were good, but recognition should be given to the band that backed everyone up. It’s worth going just to watch and listen to Kenny Aaronson. Kenny plays bass and has played with Bob Dylan, Joan Jett, Sammy Hagar, and tons more. The backing guitarist tours (along with Kenny) The Yardbirds.
Excellent musicianship along with great nostalgia.

We loved the beautiful venue, first time there.
Loved the old time music.
Sometimes the music seemed a bit loud for a relatively small venue, but guess I’m getting old.
And, we got to hang for a bit after the show with my awesome bass- playing cousin, Kenny Aaronson, very special.
Great time. Can’t wait to return!

I just found out about Happy together tour last year and attended it in Greensburg PA. Absolutely loved them. We went back again to Lancaster, they just are amazing!!! Loved them, every artist, every song was just fabulous!!! I will go the tour as long as they have them. Enjoyable, great bands and those musicians in the tour, can't say enough about them, they can do it all, just great! Great great music and great singing, can't wait till I see them again and again and again!!!

The show was everything you’d expect.
We all have to expect that most acts
Have little or no original members.
The Cowsills and Jay & the Americans leave
nothing on the table, not taking anything away from the other acts.
I have attended 7 Happy Together tours
during the course of their run.
I highly recommend the tour and the timeless memories!!!

The BEST! Had front row seats and incredible views of all the acts.. Sorry to see that Mark is not doing so well but lots of credit for him being there. The line-up, each act, had enough top hits that they could go on for hours and not repeat a song. Looking forward to next years show!

What a great night! All the performers were awesome. They might have aged, but the talent and their voices are still the same as in the 60's.
The venue and the staff was very good. Lots of smiles and friendly staff.
On a scale of 1 -10. 10 all the way!

I really felt happy at this concert and really got to absorb myself into the music! I went alone and I'm rather young, but I'm so glad I did! The venue itself was very beautiful and had amazing acoustics. I only knew about The Cowsills, The Association, and The Turtles, so it was nice to experience more bands that I wasn't too familiar with and I'm happy all of these greats shared the stage together. They all played and sung amazingly! I also have to mention the Happy Together Band for providing the backbone to the show, they are all very tight and stellar musicians. But I think what really made my night was when I decided to go skateboarding after the show, I got to meet Susan Cowsill! She was so cool and sweet and left me with a big warm hug that I'll always remember forever! Sunshine Pop is one of my absolute favorite genres and I finally got to see my favorite sunny groups in person! Thank you!

It was FABULOUS!!!!! especially Gary Puckett. I asked him to marry me. LOL!!!!! He is my crush!!!!!! But we missed our sister Goosey, she couldn't make it. And our friends knew how excited we were when we were willing to miss the Kansas City Chiefs game. NFL WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!! My WONDERFUL brother in law Rick Winchester surprised us and bought tickets. He didn't know he also was going to have to be our chauffeur. Go the see the concert. You will love it!!!! Thanks sooo much for everything Rick. YOU ROCK!!!!!

We have been to at least six of this tour over the years and this was probably the best. Little Anthony stole the show. At 82 he ruled the stage with his songs and his commentary. What a great addition. Cowsills had their normal high energy great music act with comic relief. Hard to believe Susan is 64. Her high energy level and good looks are special for any age. Classics IV sounded great especially the sad player. Vogues sounded very good but with changing membership keep getting farther from the original. Gary Pucket still has a beautiful voice but he seemed to stumble or hesitate on some lyrics. Never lost pitch or the flow so still an enjoyable set. Flo was his usual self: playing, singing, talking and playing (we hope) at forgetfulness. Everyone on stage and in the audience clearly loved him and his act. The Turtles songs are so upbeat and fun that everyone was on their feet for their entire set. Their standard close with all acts coming back out and singing Happy Together never gets old. So glad we could see another show and especially that the legendary Little Anthony’s epic performance. Hope he is in the 2024 tour.

This show was everything I could have expected and more. Ron Dante was awesome with Sugar Sugar. Little Anthony unbelievable. I went bc of Gary Puckett and he was phenomenal!!!! He’s still got it after all these years. I just wish I could have been closer. I got the ticket the day they were on sale , maybe someday. But it was AWESOME!!!!

I thought the show was one of the Best Concerts I’ve ever attended. All the artists I loved growing up listening too were there. We had great seats on the aisle where the artists came down the ramp to go on the stage. In my opinion as all the artists were great, but Little Anthony stole the show. He came on singing all his great hits but also talked about his travels and stories as a young singer trying to making it in the recording and singing industry as a 12 year old. I loved how the stage rotated around so everyone in the audience had a front row seat. I look forward to seeing other upcoming concerts at the CC Melody Tent.

The backing band was tremendous. They backed every single band that hit the stage. But then they also touted themselves as the Turtles with Ron Dante S a member of the Turtles and in my life growing up, I knew Ron was never a member of the Turtles.
The evening opened up with three members of the Cowsills who sounded spectacular with their harmonies. They did 4 or 5 tunes.
Next was the alleged Classics IV although there were only two people from the band and one was Dennis Yost’s designated successor since his passing. They did 4 tunes and complained about where they landed on the charts.
Next up was the amazing Vogues and it looked like the three originals who sounded superb. They did four of their wonderful songs and the man who sang the high notes was really incredible. These gentlemen were a treat to hear.
Next up we’re the Association of which only one actual member of the original group was actually performing and that was Jules Alexander. The other two who joined him on stage was Dell Ramos who was the late Larry Ranos’s brother who joined the band after running sound for them for years. They also introduced a guy by the name of Rick Holland who I guess is covering for the ailing Jim Yester who hopes to be back with the band soon. This a band that has so many songs and to see them limited to 4 or 5 songs just hurts.
Next up was Gary Puckett of the Union Gap who did 5 of his hits and claimed he was the senior citizen of the group at 80. Sad to say, although he tried, his singing was very hard and no control over his vibrato and they could have helped him with a better microphone.
Finally Ron Dante came out in front of the band that played all night and was introduced as the Turtles, while also throwing in his #1 hit of the Archie’s, Sugar, Sugar. He then proceeded to go through the Turtles repertoire.
Finally everyone came out for their final bows. It was a nice show but a little sad and melancholy. A lot of the groups did not disappoint and I am so glad I got to hear you. I just wish that people who promote these shows would be more honest with the buying public about who is appearing.
