Adam Holloway Drums

My journey into music began in my middle school years and then high school. I studied snare drum and xylophone/marimba techniques under Mario Luna. I also began studying with jazz drummer Paul Bowman. Then entering marching band, I began working with Ron Schermerhorn leading up to participating in several competitions such as The Lone Star Classic in Dallas, Tx. and PASIC in Indianapolis, IN
Soon after, I signed up for classes with Jim Payne via Berklee's School of Music's on-line courses. I then attended The Drummer's Collective in New York City. I returned to resume classes at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
During summer of 2012, I was asked to join a reggae/surf rock band "The Weakday Boyz" to hit the road and travel around the state of Texas performing at various venues. A true education of life on the road for a musician.
Summer of 2013, I played for an alternative country band "The Elise" and led this group to the winning position in the Battle of the Bands to open for Ziegfest - CC. A great experience with what it takes to package and market a band.
I am now working on several different projects, one of which is drumming for a new alternative rock band Violet Crush. Music soon to come and as always reaching for musical diversity and the opportunity to perfect my craft and explore the business to it's fullest.
