Samantha Fish

Samantha Fish is the most dynamic performer I've ever seen. Great guitar player, singer, songwriter. I've seen her shows 15 times, always surpassing her previous roof blowing off attempts at returning her adoring and respectful fans support. I can't wait for my pre-order of her new live album to arrive in mid June. Her astounding current album "Paper Doll" is a masterpiece, sounding like a live performance in itself, nominated for a Grammy, with songs that translate into even more explosive renderings in concert. Being in the second row center at Foxwoods, was a night of celebration of this wonderful music created by a most gifted artist. It was a privilege.

Samantha Fish and Tab Benoit appeared at the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center as part of their "When Two Tours Collide" tour. The venue was perfect, as were the shows. Both artists were relaxed and obviously had fun on that early spring Sunday night. I have seen these two artists together several times and can see they make compatible touring partners. Fish's setlist was comparable to those appearances surrounding this one. The guitarist's cover of Neil Young's "Don't Let It Bring You Down" was a highlight. Fish's band was tight and potent. The artist is wonderful to see and interact with. She is very kind to my wife, who adores her. We have seen Ms. Fish 11 times since 2017. A fine show.

Attended Samantha Fish on 12/17 @ Infinity Hall - Hartford and what a Show!! and What a Venue!! Touring the past few weeks on the Shakem' Down Tour - with Jon Spencer, Cedric Burnside and Featuring Samantha and her band members; Ron JohnSon on Bass, Jamie Douglass on Drums and Mickey Finn on Keys the show was a evening filled with rock and blues explosive music!! About 9:55 Samantha took to the stage opening with her powerful version of "Kick Out the Jams" and then unleashed several songs off her Grammy Nominated Album Paper Doll highlighted by Sweet Southern Sounds, Don't Say It and the 60's vibe "Fortune Teller" showcasing her bluesy riffs on her Gibson Flying V!! Mixed in the set the crowd pleaser "Bullet Proof" with her trusty Cigar Box Guitar and the emotive "Dream Girl" where Samantha left it all on the stage both vocally and guitar wise!! Ended with Black Widow Howlin only to set up a group encore with Jon and Cedric' bands!! The mix was superb and acoustics in the Infinity Outstanding!! An awesome show and if you have not seen Samantha live - she in her band are a must!!! Paulie D

This is my third time seeing Samantha Fish live. The entire show, from Jon Spencer's aggressive Punk-Blues Rock to Cedric Burnside's no-frills yet passionate Mississippi blues, and then to Samantha Fish and her band, was a fantastic experience that enveloped the audience in music and emotions. Samantha enraptures the audience, flirting with genre-bending and even molding it to her magical will. Her musicianship is only matched by her command of the stage and whatever venue she enters. The entire place becomes Hers the moment that she walks on stage. Infinity Hall is an incredible venue with great acoustics and sound. The amenities were convenient, very accessible, and clean. With its inexpensive parking deck (just $5) just across the street, it could not have been more convenient for a downtown setting.

This was a bucket list concert for me. I missed seeing Samantha Fish in Kansas City back in 2019 by about 3 hours, but when I saw that she was coming to Montana, we were all in - not going to miss the opportunity for a live show. Very intimate show with <350 people in this outside venue, but Samantha and her band played like it was a packed stadium! 90 minute set with no breaks and 1 encore - this girl came to rock and did not disappoint! The drummer was very steady, great timing and the bass player had the rhythm section locked down like a bank vault - no showing off, just great funk over the face melting solos from Samantha who filled up all the space with rock/blues/female vocals not to be beat. Would definitely prioritize her on summer concert ticket purchase again. LOVED the show, thank you for coming to Montana!

Samantha never fails to impress. She and her band put on a great show in a very cool venue. She focused on songs from her recent release, Paper Doll, and the songs were even better live. She showed off her guitar pyrotechnics throughout the show, even returning for an encore. I spoke to a lot of the people in attendance in the standing room area, first-timers and experienced fish-heads, and everyone i spoke to was very impressed.

I had the honor of seeing Samantha Fish when she came to Columbia two years ago on her "Faster" tour, so I treasured the opportunity to see her performance again. Friday's new "Paper Doll" tour performance was spectacular ✨️ 👌 and deserves a full 5-Star ✨️ 👏 ❤️ "standing ovation! *** The best rockin' blues performance I have seen since the legendary George Thorogood came to M.U.'s Jesse Auditorium decades ago. I only wish that I could have met her in person this time. I look forward to meeting her soon. The Center for the Arts is a great venue to see a show. Samantha Fish didn't disappoint, her vocal and guitar range is incredible and must be experienced live. Joining her tour was Jon Spencer and Cedric Burnside, both performers brought their own style that enhanced the overall show. The encore brought out all three artists collaborating with a theatrical show stopper that had Samantha & Jon playfully battling genres. Glad we made the drive from Fair Oaks, a wonderful way to kick off the Holidays.

She was great! Everyone who played there was very good. I give the show a 3 based on the seating but a 5 based on their performance, therefore I will split the difference in the rating. The only draw back was the seating, we couldn't see the stage from the seats we had, absolutely terrible. I had the opportunity to get tickets very close to the stage (row D) but because I was only buying two tickets I kept getting an error when I tried to purchase them. It appeared that the only way to get tickets closer to the stage was to buy 4 tickets. The tickets that I was finally able to but was in row S. That is not right and discriminates against those who want to buy a less amount. I will probably not go to the Ludlow garage again because of that. I would go see Samantha Fish again as well as Canned Heat and Bernard Allison but not at the Ludlow Garage.

Nice venue. Lots of old school rockers in for a great show. Samantha Fish rocked the house. She and the crowd were in sync all night. She really gets the most out of her talent and puts a lot of energy into the show. I loved it from start to finish where the venue owner was thanking people for coming in the parking lot. Nice touch, great night! Go see Samantha Fish. Saw her in Denver with Slash-needed another helping!

saw samantha on you tube!!!! didn't know what to expect!!!! came to really nice venue in york,pa!!! this woman was Awesome,can't say enough!!!!!! stayed on stage full length of the performance,band took a break and she kept on rockin!!!!! if you've never seen her,do urself a favor and do so!!! 35 yr old that has it all!!! looks,talent with a guitar,awesome singer!!!!! wife and i were blown away!!!! 5stars don't begin to sum it up!!!

Samantha Fish put on a fast-paced guitar driven performance at the Castle Theater on October 10, 2023. A crowd of 400 watched as Fish ran through a high-energy set. Fish was accompanied by keyboards, bass, and drums for most of the show. Fish dismissed the band for a couple of songs. The set was a mix of some of her best tunes and some real rockers. The encore with blues guitarist and show opener Eric Johanson featured a blistering guitar shoot out between Sam and Eric. As my 8th time seeing Fish, she just gets better every time I see here. Do not pass up an opportunity to see her.

Hello, Sweetwater is a great venue to watch a concert! As usual, Samantha Fish knocked it out of the park! You wouldn't expect anything less than that from Samantha! Jesse Dayton adds well on collaborating with the songs from the Deathwish Blues Album. Looking forward for Samantha to get back to touring by herself and hopefully Sarah Tomek and Matt Wade will be back as part of the band, they are such a tight group!!

5 stars because Samantha is amazing! A bad day of Fish’n is better than a good day at work. The sound quality was acoustically horrible. No fault of Samantha’s!!! I am glad I already know how amazing she is and this wasn’t my introduction to her music. The sound engineer at this show was terrible and it never improved throughout the show. Whoever it was did a HUGE disservice to Samantha. Don’t judge her by this show. Samantha Fish is a superstar in every regard. She has spent the last 10 tears honing her skills. No one plays the guitar, writes their own lyrics or sounds quite like her. She is absolutely an amazing artist! Tops in my book! I’ve been known to listen to one song of hers over and over and over set on repeat for months straight. Last September. Cowtown. Dream Girl. Gone For Good. On and on. She is THAT GOOD!!!

Great venue, great set list, great band! Great support band too! My first time in the Komedia, and my first time to see both Wille and the Bandits and Samantha Fish, and I wasn’t disappointed on any count. The queue to get in was a bit of a shock - didn’t expect quite that, but we were soon inside, enjoying a tasty local Bath brewed beer and the opening of Wille and the Bandits set. A great range of songs, some earlier and some from their latest album. All good stuff. All too soon, the set was over, and after some pretty quick and slick stage setup work, it was time for Samantha. She started with a thundering number, playing on a four string cigar box with some blistering slide work. There then followed a high octane set with no let up right through to and including the well deserved encore. All in all, a fantastic evening. Final word? If you’re reading this and you haven’t seen either of these bands before, get yourself tickets as soon as you can! You won’t regret it!

What an amazing performance at the Salvage Station Easter Sunday! Samantha Fish is a powerhouse guitarist, vocalist & (Dare I say it?) one who knows a thing or two about "Crowd Control." And CONTROL the crowd, she did! Accompanying her onstage were bassist Ron Johnson, Sarah Tomek on drums, and Matt Wade on the keyboards. Performing songs from "Faster," "Chills & Fever" and earlier albums, the Samantha Fish band held the Appalachian Mountains in western North Carolina captive Sunday night. And personally I enjoyed my bout of Stockholm Syndrome. Samantha delivered a sonic onslaught of six-string madness as the crowd begged for more. And more is what the got. With tunes like "No Angels", "Better Be Lonely" "Kill Or Be Kind", filling the venue, this was a show to remember. (And one more thing I can mark off my Bucket List but will have to be repeated over and over.) If you'd like to see for yourself, check out some of her past concerts on YouTube. I liked her current sound and style. Back to the Blues and Blues/Rock. I really liked her band: organ, drums, and the bass player, who has been with her many years, is incredible. He hauls a*s on the bass. I and the 4 people I was with agreed that we did not like the warm-up act. We all thought that they were boring and that their music genre, performance style, and quality of playing did not seem to be a good choice to be the opening act for Samantha.

First time (for me): taking in a show at Sweetwater, and; seeing Samantha Fish live. Absolutely loved both! Great venue, hard to find anything negative/constructive to offer. Samantha...what a performer! Truly wish she had been the main act; 45 minutes was not nearly enough! She is such a good musician, has a great voice and you can feel her passion as she plays her set...hated to see it come to an end. But did actually get to meet her afterwards, so tough to beat that!

Samantha was great. The 3 stars is due to the venue. 40 degrees outside and raining and doors opened an hour late. They blamed it on the band arriving late and some cockamamie excuse that they can’t let people in while the band is doing sound checks. Add to that, The Token’s sound system blows. Feedback and technical problems throughout the show. A premier concert venue? I guess that doesn’t include lighting. Every time Samantha moves away from the mic she was pretty much in darkness. Samantha Fish is Must-See. But not at the Token Lounge.

Samantha Fish and her band have really improved their performance skills and show, they have a great full sound and she has become a talented entertainer. The only thing I was disappointed in was I didn’t recognize any of the songs, and I have all of her records so I must be missing something. But I was very much looking forward to her performing her early bluesy songs that she was so very good at. I would see her again.
