DEUTSCH: Geburtsstunde von RAPID war im April 2012 als sich Mitglieder der Ska-Bands beNUTS, Steamy Dumplings, Santeria & the Porn Horns entschlossen, eine neue Band aus der Taufe zu heben: RAPID. Nach ersten Gigs und einigen Umbesetzungen hat sich ein Line-up mit Musikern aus der Ska-Szene und Musikern aus der Metal-Szene gefunden, das wohl derzeit zum verrücktesten und abgedrehtesten gehört, das aus München kommt. Mit ihrer Mischung aus schnellem Ska, Latin, Metal, Polka und Rock bringt dieser wilde Haufen nun die Bühnen zum Kochen! ENGLISH: The birth of RAPID was in April 2012 when members from the ska-bands "beNUTS" „Steamy Dumplings“ and „Santeria & the porn horns“ decided to form a new band: RAPID. After first gigs and several people changing now a line up has been forming which is half skapeople half metalheads. So this new band is definitely among the weirdest and hottest new stuff from Munich city and they're keen on letting the stages all over the world boil with their melange of fast ska, latin, metal, polka and rock! RAPID is fast, RAPID is joy and party, RAPID is ska, rock, latin and balkan in 6 languages... Vorhang auf for the new Munich all-star ska-project!!!
