About Campfire Girls

The Campfire Girls is a U.S. rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band formed in 1993.

After building some hype in the Hollywood Ca. area, the band quickly received some attention from the major record label Interscope. Their first release was the 'Mood Enhancer' Ep, this was supposed to be followed by a full CD. However, with success came drug problems which resulted in the group disbanding.

Years later, they joined up again. A full CD would be released by an indie lable titled 'Delongpre' (2002), which featured songs recorded years earlier.

A third release, 'Tell Them Hi' was released in 2003 by Interscope Records( yeah, they resigned them), received some critical praise, but their popularity did not seem to reach critical mass.

The band broke up for a 2nd time and lead singer Christian Stone is now pursuing a solo carreer.
